Tips for Guys: Here's How To Increase Your Body Confidence

Guys and girls are different in many ways, and in some ways, girls have more options for changing their appearance. They can wear makeup to make their eyes and lips look bigger. They can apply fake tan to make their complexion appear warmer or darker. They can change their height with heels. In doing these things- and others- they can boost their confidence. More specifically, the can boost their body confidence. Guys, however, don’t have the same amount of options.

However, if you’re a guy with low body confidence, don’t despair. There are a number ways to increase your body confidence. Whether it’s so you can have more confidence in dating and with women, or at work, or even just for yourself.

First up, is it your body that is the problem? If you have issues with your weight and want to lose some of it, there are two obvious ways you can do this. The first is to eat more healthily, and the second is to exercise. Notice that we don’t say the word diet here, as dieting can set you up for failure. If you need guidance on the right healthy eating regime for you, the Internet is the place to go. There are loads of blogs, vlogs and other guides out there that will also give your motivation to get started and carry on.

It could be that you lack confidence because of problems with your skin. Anything from acne on your face to eczema or psoriasis on your body can have an impact on how you feel. The good news here is, you don’t have to deal with skin conditions alone. Speak with a Doctor and discuss what your options are. It could be that a simple course of tablets will clear the problem right up. Alternatively, you could visit a specialistskin clinic, but be aware that these can often be very expensive.

Another option you can consider is Testosterone Replacement Therapy. If you undergo this therapy, you may be one of the many men who finds a decrease in certain negative feelings and emotions. This might include a decrease in sadness and fatigue, and even anger. In turn, you can also experience an increase in your overall sense of wellbeing. This can help with how you view yourself and how confident you feel in a big way.

Of course, the issue you have that is causing low confidence could be to do with something far easier to fix. Hate your hairstyle and fancy a change? Go to a new salon and ask the hairstylist to give you advice on what would actually suit your face shape and look! ev zlx12p

Finally, if none of the above solutions are working for you, do some research into body dysmorphia. This is a recognized, medical condition in which when you look in the mirror, you don’t see what is really there. You may see yourself far larger than you really are, for example. Understanding body dysmorphia and recognizing it in yourself is half the battle.
